Annual check up

AA tee-shirt, leggings, thermal hoodie; thrifted/gifted patriotic high tops

Got two shots today + a physical. Aren't physicals so wonderfully awkward? Sometimes my doctor and I have the most interesting conversations. This time about open relationships, beauty marks and breast types. Got to love Dr. Wendy :D
So today I moseyed around, did homework, made a playlist for a special someone, flirtin', sent self-taken photos for my friend's drawing class.
Oh, I live for scandal.

I need a haircut. I'm thinking a long-hair version of the A-line. Comments? Care to stop me?
I want to do something dramatic!

"Hey bitches!"

This is HILARIOUS!
Sorry William- I will not give up my leopard print blouse!

Add me on Chictopia!

Taking a step away from "lame"

I started making this list for myself because I found myself waiting near my phone too often (and I just watched "He's just not that into you" and felt pathetic). Then I realized it's sort of general and maybe you all would enjoy these activities as well.
INSTEAD OF SITTING AROUND AND WAITING FOR "HIM" or "HER" or ANYONE- DO THIS:

1. Stay in bed & do homework in your underwear!

2. Apply your personal style to every "normal" item. yeah spice up that ugly jansport backpack with rhinestones or superglue feathers to that ugly headband!

3. Find that artist or album you've always wanted on mediafire- I think music should be free (for the most part). This could lead to some lastfm excursions and learning opportunities. (Add me on lastfm- username xeeerin)

4. Gather your friends in the back of a truck with lots of blankets and do some candlelit out-loud reading, play card games and eat marshmallows.

5. Make cookie dough- eat it. But bake one batch of it to share, you fatty!

6. Online shop (keep wallet out of sight if need be).

7. Clean out your closet again. You don't wear all of those clothes!!!

8. Create future outfits (this is really only if you're willing).

9. Manicure/pedicure party with a season of THE OC.

10. Make a dent in that list of NOVELS YOU WANT TO READ.

11. Practice music conduction and time signature dictation with the new music you downloaded.

12. Make playlists for ALL YOUR FRIENDS, esp. the ones you want playlists from.

13. Explore the blogosphere, of course!

Feel free to share any of your ideas in a comment :D

A little bit more me

If you are trying to take a step away from "lame," here's a good start.

Apply your personal style to every "normal" item. Yeah spice up that ugly jansport backpack with rhinestones or superglue feathers to that ugly headband!

For my project I used:
ugly black jansport backpack
bottle of stencil spray
sparrow stencil
pair of scissors
cut up old rag

1. Choose the placement of your stencil.

2. Cover areas you don't want sprayed

3. Spray chosen area from 6-10 inches away

4. Let dry for one hour & remove stencil

5. Voila!

My spray paint blobbed a bit, so I took a sharpie and covered the spray spots that weren't meant to be sprayed. No biggie :D

I've always hated wearing backpacks- always feel frumpy and a little bit too much like everyone else. Some of my friends have patches & what not on their backpacks, but I can never decide on one to advertise- so this was my solution. Hope it works out for you :D

HORRAY

FOR ONE THOUSAND HITS :D

Thanks for being wonderful you fierce followers!

Animal instinct

Thrifted blouse, Cheap Monday pants, Urban Outfitter leather lace ups

So I walk into my psychology class a few minutes late and scuttle across the room to find the last empty seat. I notice my professor is coincidentally wearing a very similar leopard blouse. I exhale as I sit down, chuckle to myself, then start the essay portion of my exam. Later that day, I arrive to music class where my witty, South African accented music professor is wearing an animal print blouse with matching jacket. I guess good style is at it's peak at my community college :)
Honestly though, do I look like a women in her 40's? Hahaha!

Cool tank top!

This reminds me so much of freaky tee shirts I would wear when I was a child. Super 90's. Thought you guys would get a kick out of it. I asked the guy if he knew what the photos were supposed to be of, and he had no idea. So he said I could just stare for a while. Pretty entertaining.

I don't know guys, I'm not the biggest fan of techno and highlighter "fashion" but I'll definitely agree that Love Fest is a must-see.
It's the ultimate people-watching opportunity :)
