Fancy French Cologne

I have been waiting and waiting for Fancy French Cologne to come out with their online shopping site, and they have!
Luckily I got a sneek preview and wanted to share with you the adorable items coming soon to FancyFrenchCologne.com

Why am I suddenly interested in online shopping again, you ask?
Haven't I always just looked at F21 and OU online, but really only shopped at American Apparel because I work there? Wrong.
Fancy French Cologne is owned by two SF girlies that were in a bitchin' band, Finest Dearest.
When I heard they were coming out with a clothing line, I was like "THESE GIRLS RULE!"

Let me give you a peep of what I already have saved in my Wishlist

The Salt + Pepper Blazer has super cute details, nice urban looking sleeves, but it totally still tailored-
hence urban chic!

Photobucket

A Sweater Blazer, why haven't I seen this before? Two staple items in my closet combined in one item!
No more pairing cardigans under Blazers to get the comfort and the structure. This is all-in-one! Gah, love!

Photobucket

Dark Olive Messenger Bag- aren't we always looking for the perfect bag?
But wait- this one is made of 100% man made materials. Even better!

And now, if I were to dress in all black (God forbid!)
I could still have a floral element with this adorable Ashley Clutch.
You know I don't go anywhere without some floral, pastel or grandma-esque item. Problem solved.

So at this point you're all like, "uhh... Erin, why haven't you mentioned anything about the girl in these pictures?"
Silly me! My sister, Nicole is one of the models on the website. Isn't she cute?

Anyyyway
you can meet us both at Fancy French Cologne's Launch Party on September 23rd.
RSVP on Facebook! Oh and while you're on Facebook, don't forget to "like" Fresh Influence.

Miss you guys, more soon!

thrifted romper, loafers, satchel; aa lace bra

Finally, a trip to the mother ship!
During my trip to LA, a buddy and I visited the American Apparel Factory Headquarters.
I was so excited to walk around the production floors. Got to see all the smiling workers, laughing and chatting away.
It was interesting to see the art of clothes-making. Cutting, sewing and creating high-quality clothing is hard work. It made me appreciate the company I work for. But I won't continue to bore you.

I found this romper at the Buffalo Exchange on 2nd Street in Long Beach for $12. Hollllerrrr!
On the real though, I just want lots of rompers. This one is made out of polyester and is very slinky and free-falling.
These three from F21 are cuuuuute:

Wanted: Spring blazers!

aa tights, shorts; thrifted tee, blazer; aldo oxfords

The color of this blazer is very autumny, I wish I could find something similar in a mint, pink or baby blue.
All I can find is grey, tan, navy and white.

I'm considering these from f21:

lavendar satin

green/creme striped cotton

Of course Topshop has a lot of cute ones out of my price range. Blegh.
Let me know if you have any ideas!

I'm in need of more high-waisted shorts--- any suggestions?
I already have every color from American Apparel but I need more :)

19th and Valencia

I ran away yesterday.
I packed my bags, drove to the next town, left my car in a parking lot, walked to the train, took the train to Bart and ran away to the city.

When I got into the mission, I met with some friends and we shopped. A lot. Did some REAL thrifting for once in a very long time. Thrifting in the city is a lot more successful than thrifting in the suburbs, you just have to be patient.

Later that night, a very special person offered me shelter for the night. She and her trendy friend had identical urban outfitter boots. Urban Outfitters is taking over the world... I haven't decided if that's a good thing yet.

Don't worry darlings, I'm home safe now :)

My best find that day ($6.75):

These shoes got me even more excited for New Year's. I think I'm going to be super 1999 and dress in all purple or something. Go really over the top. Have you seen American Apparel's new promo on New Year's like it's 1999? There are some really cute ideas on the site. Why don't more people dress up for this holiday?- it's a great way to start the New Year.
I think couples should dress to match. Girls should be in sequins and boys in bow-ties and everyone needs someone to kiss at midnight. Sorry if this philosophy depresses you single ladies, but maybe it will inspire you to dress to impress and make it that much easier to find a cutie when the clock strikes twelve.
He doesn't have to be your boyfriend, or even a friend. Truth is- everyone wants a New Year's kiss. If you see a cute boy alone and only 10 seconds remain until 2010- consider him fair game. You both want it.
New rule in the book of girl rules: if you aren't with your boyfriend on New Year's, it's all right if he gives someone else a kiss. Agree, ladies? And what do you think fellas? It's just a kiss :D

Can't stop

I have a serious problem going holiday shopping. All I ever do is shop for myself!
Just kidding though, I'm really almost done with holiday shopping, thank goodness!
Got these for $30 at f21. Delivered today. Obsessed. Wearing them tomorrow. Will post outfit.
I guess I'll have to put the black aldo ankle bootie wedges on hold for a while, I have so many pairs of shoes!
I like these because they aren't too loose at my ankle. So I can wear them with shorts or skirts and not look sickly skinny! :D

Because I can

As I was online shopping, I came across these shoes. They reminded me of an old pair from high school that I never wear anymore. So here is my next project! I am going to spray paint and bowtie an old pair of plain black peep-toes from target to create these cuties. Wish me luck!

On the list of to-buys

It's fun working at my store because it gets really slow and we try things on to research fitting.

Black high-waisted twill zip up shorts and black on black sweetheart dress. Both fit me perfectly. Plus- notice they are both black! Of course.
I love short shorts. There's a new two-tone sweetheart dress: mint on creme- check it out its sooo cute but it hasn't arrived at my store yet. I feel like this is the next two-tone dress fad. Who can forget the two-tone fitted mini dress? Everyone had one of those, except me.

PS my new shoes came- I'm wearing them today (it was a bitch to walk to class) I'll post the outfit sometime. Now back to class :D
The back of my knee is burnt- ouchie!

New discovery

Well I have been sick in bed all day. Days like this are usually wasted into online shopping frenzies.
I bought a skirt, belt and the brown shoes from the last post. Shhhh.
I watch movies. Usually Harry Potter, High School Musical, You've Got Mail or, like today, Phantom of the Opera.
I look through a lot of blogs, Lookbook and Chictopia. I last time I discovered TopShop

Today I stumbled upon ASOS. It's amazing!! Here are a few of my favorite finds:

My next paycheck

$40!!
I have been searching everywhere for an affordable style- and it was at Alloy all along! How could I be so stupid? And to think I was half considering dishing out $80+ for some NIne Wests. Consider these MINE!
I can't choose- I'm leaning toward the first ones.
